Series "Orbita MK M S"

The alarm devices of the series "Orbita MK M S" are intended for the supply of alarm light signals in fire and burglar alarm systems, as well as for indicating the modes of operation of equipment and attracting the attention of personnel in emergency situations. Annunciator can be used with any fire and security alarm receiving and control devices. Explosion protection type and category 1Ex d llBT6 Gb as per GOST R IEC 60079-0-2011. Alarm devices can be used in Class 1 and 2 explosion-hazard zones and spaces as per GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011 and GOST IEC 60079-14-2011.

Alarm devices differ by operating voltage:

• 12-27 VDC;
• 220В VAC.

Distinctive feature:

• fully sealed enclosure with IP67 protection;
• two-stage notification with automatic or external control;
• user-programmed mode of operation;
• increased brightness and large viewing angle;
• wide selection of certified cable glands for any connection option.

Alarm devices come with two KV TU 3449-138-81888935-2016 series explosion-proof cable glands made by SMD. Cable glands have G1/2 connection thread. Cable glands allow to route in/out round cables of diameter 6-12 mm. Available cable gland types:

• For surface routing of the connecting cable (designation index - К);
• For routing the connection cable in pipe G1/2 (Т-1/2) or G3/4 (Т-3/4);
• For connection of the armoured cable (B);
• For connection of the cable in metal hose RZTsH-10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm or 20 mm (КМ10- KM20).

Operation modes

Operating mode is user-selectable by dip switches. 1- or 2-stage modes are available. Second stage is automatically activated after a fixed time of 3 minutes, or by external control voltage. Type of the alarm signal is selected by the user independently for each stage by dip switches. There are 6 modes of operation: blinking with frequencies of 0.5Hz, 1, 2, 3Hz; strobe flashes 70 msec with a frequency of 1.3 Hz; constant glow. In the "strobe" mode, the brightness is 2 times higher than the constant glow or blinking modes.
