The explosion-proof subscriber calling device PKV "Trombone SORS-AVU" (hereinafter referred to as AVU) is a component of the "Trombone SORS" Voice Feedback System (hereinafter referred to as SORS). The AVU is designed to provide two-way voice communication with the control room, where the call-receiving device, the "Trombone SORS-PD" dispatch console (hereinafter referred to as PD), is located. The primary component of the SORS, which provides power and communication between all AVUs and PDs in the system, is the local communication unit "Trombone SORS-LBS" (hereinafter referred to as LBS). Each LBS can connect one dispatch console and up to four communication lines with the AVU, with up to eight AVUs installed in each communication line. Up to 16 LBS devices can be used in the SORS.
The SORS system allows for two simultaneous communication sessions. All SORS system components are connected via a digital communication line (RS485 interface) up to 1200 meters long.
The Trombone SORS-AVU intercom system is a terminal subscriber intercom device that can be installed in hazardous areas of industrial enterprises and facilities, and as part of the Trombone SORS system can be used to build:
- speech feedback systems, as an element of fire alarm systems of types 4 and 5 (fire automatic systems);
- dispatch communication systems.
- public address systems.
The explosion-proof device has explosion protection of the "flameproof enclosure "d"" type and has explosion protection marking according to GOST 31610.0-2014 (IEC 60079-0:2011) 1Ex d IIC T6 Gb / Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db. The explosion-proof device belongs to explosion-proof electrical equipment of groups II, III according to GOST 31610.0-2014 (IEC 60079-0:2011) and is intended for use in explosive zones in accordance with the established explosion protection marking, the requirements of TR CU 012/2011, GOST IEC 60079-14-2013, and other regulatory documents governing the use of electrical equipment.
The Trombone SORS-AVU PKV is designed for operation at ambient temperatures ranging from minus 0°C to plus 40°C and atmospheric pressures ranging from 84 to 106.7 kPa. The device has a UHL1 climate rating according to GOST 15150-69 and an IP66 enclosure protection rating according to GOST 14254.
