The explosion-proof card reader is designed for access control and management by reading and transmitting identification card data to control and receiving devices. It is used in controlled barrier devices such as turnstiles, airlocks, access booths, doors, gates, etc.
The intercom station consists of a metal housing with a special field for reading card codes. The housing forms an explosion-proof enclosure and complies with explosion protection level 1Ex d IIB T6 Gb according to GOST R IEC 60079-0-2011. The device can be used in hazardous areas and areas of classes 1 and 2 according to GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011 and GOST IEC 60079-14-2011. The intercom station enclosure is sealed with an IP 67 protection rating according to GOST 12454-2015.
The device is equipped with two explosion-proof KV series cable entries, KV TU 27.33.13-138-81888935-2019. The connecting thread of the cable entries is M20x1.5. The cable entries allow the entry and exit of round cables with a diameter of 3.1-13.9 mm. Available cable entry options:
