The IO209 Mirax-L2 MK active linear security alarm is designed to detect objects crossing a controlled zone formed by an infrared beam between the emitter and receiver. It is used to establish perimeter security boundaries for facilities, extended areas, and building facades.
The detector operates as a linear optoelectronic security device. An alarm is generated by opening the output contacts of an opto-isolator switch. The detector consists of a transmitter (EI) and a receiver (RP), installed on opposite sides of the protected area, forming an IR beam. When crossed, an alarm is generated.

Peculiarities:
The power supply and power supply units are supplied with a permanently attached cable. Remote junction boxes, included in the delivery kit, are used to connect the power supply and power supply units.

The cable entry connection thread is G1/2. Round cables with a diameter of 8-12 mm can be inserted into the junction box.
