The IO209 Mirax-L2 MK active linear security alarm is designed to detect objects crossing a controlled zone formed by an infrared beam between the emitter and receiver. It is used to establish perimeter security boundaries for facilities, extended areas, and building facades.

The detector operates as a linear optoelectronic security device. An alarm is generated by opening the output contacts of an opto-isolator switch. The detector consists of a transmitter (EI) and a receiver (RP), installed on opposite sides of the protected area, forming an IR beam. When crossed, an alarm is generated.

The power supply and power supply units are supplied with a permanently attached cable. Remote junction boxes, included in the delivery kit, are used to connect the power supply and power supply units.

Junction boxes are supplied with cable entries of various designs:

for open cable laying (index in the designation - K );
for laying the connecting cable in a G1/2 ( T-1/2 ) pipe;
for laying the connecting cable in a G3/4 ( T-3/4 ) pipe;
for connecting armoured cable with an external diameter of up to 18 mm ( B);
for connecting a cable in a metal sleeve RZTSKH-15mm or 20mm ( KM15, KM20).

The cable entry connection thread is G1/2. Round cables with a diameter of 8-12 mm can be inserted into the junction box.
