The explosion-proof Orion MK VK FishEye video camera is designed to convert optical images into electrical signals for subsequent transmission via cable networks to the operator station in potentially explosive and aggressive environments. The camera features a wide viewing angle and allows video recording both during the day and in low visibility conditions (twilight, night).
The scope of application is to ensure protection, safety and control over technological processes of explosive and aggressive industries in the oil, oil refining, petrochemical, gas and other complex technological industries, including mines and shafts.
The explosion-proof video camera "Orion MK VK FishEye" has explosion protection type "flameproof enclosure "d"". Explosion protection marking according to GOST 31610.0-2014 (IEC 60079-0:2011) for versions with stainless steel housing material PB Ex d I Mb / 1Ex d IIC T6 Gb / Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db, for versions with aluminum alloy housing material 1Ex d IIC T6 Gb / Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db.
The video camera belongs to explosion-proof electrical equipment of groups I, II, III according to GOST 31610.0-2014 (IEC 60079-0:2011) and is intended for use in underground workings of mines, pits and their above-ground structures, as well as in explosion-hazardous areas of premises and outdoor installations in accordance with the established explosion protection marking, the requirements of TR CU 012/2011, GOST IEC 60079-14-2013, and other regulatory documents governing the use of electrical equipment.

The explosion-proof video camera is designed for operation in ambient temperatures from –30°C to +60°C, with a climate rating of UHL1 in accordance with GOST 15150-69. Atmospheric pressure ranges from 84 to 106.7 kPa. The enclosure protection rating is IP67 in accordance with GOST 14254-2015.
Protection against electric shock according to GOST 12.2.07.0-75: Class III. The metal housing has protective grounding and working insulation from live parts.
The video camera is equipped with one explosion-proof KV series cable gland, KV TU 27.33.13-138-81888935-2019. The cable gland connection thread is M20x1.5. The cable gland allows the input and output of round cables of various diameters:
