Boxes are designed for connection or status indication of AC/DC circuits of commercial frequency in explosive zones. PKV MK series boxes are manufactured by casting. V2, G2, D2, Е2 type boxes differ in size. Boxes can be used in Class 1 and 2 explosion-hazard zones as per GOST IEC 60079-10-1-20111 and have explosion protection marking «1Ex d IIC T6 Gb». Climatic rating UHL2. On request, the boxes can be equipped with a visor or canopy.
Type and number of control and indication components is specified in the order. The boxes can have sign plates with explanatory inscriptions in Russian and foreign languages: «Start», «Stop» etc. The boxes are designed to accommodate armoured and non-armoured electrical cables of round cross-section, as well as cables in metal hose or pipe. At customer's request, a viewing window of polycarbonate can be installed on the front panel.
