Explosion-proof card reader is designed to control and manage access by reading and transmitting data of identification cards to control and receiving devices.It is used in controlled barriers: turnstiles, gateways, walk-through cabins, doors, gates, etc.

It is a metal case with a special field for reading the card code.The housing forms an explosion-proof enclosure and corresponds to the explosion protection level 1Ex d IIB T6 Gb according to GOST R IEC 60079-0-2011.The device can be used in hazardous areas and rooms of 1 and 2 classes according to GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011 and GOST IEC 60079-14-2011.The enclosure of the intercom station is sealed with a protection level of IP 67 in accordance with GOST 12454-2015.

The device is equipped with two explosion-proof cable glands of the KV, KV series TU 27.33.13-138-81888935-2019.Connecting thread of cable glands M20x1.5.The cable glands allow the entry and exit of round cables with a diameter of 3.1-13.9mm. Available cable gland options:

• under the cable for open installation;
• for armored cable;
• for laying a cable in a pipe with a connecting thread G1 / 2;
• for laying a cable in a pipe with a connecting thread G3 / 4;
• for a cable in a metal hose 10 mm;
• for a cable in a metal hose 12 mm;
• for a cable in a metal hose 15 mm;
• for a cable in a metal hose 20 mm.
