Explosion-proof PCs are an automation tool for the implementation of various process control systems (APCS) at industrial enterprises engaged in the extraction and processing of oil and gas products, as well as in the chemical industry, fuel distribution storage, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, mining industry, civil construction in hazardous environments, printing, textiles, etc.Based on a PC and additional equipment, including the ORION series (PC, cameras, router-router, thermal imager, switch, fire detectors, sirens, etc.)etc.), it is possible to organize operator posts to track technological processes, emergencies, protect facilities, account for various vehicles, etc.Hardware and software integration makes it possible to directly interact with video surveillance and equipment of alarm systems, SCAD, obtaining the following advantages: creating a configuration, transferring information to equipment, polling devices and obtaining the status of technical means, managing object devices, displaying an object plan with visual observation of the state of the incident, promptly transferring the assessment to the relevant services, displaying the image on a PC from nearby cameras.
PCs, depending on the configuration, are used in places where the presence of an explosive gas mixture is unlikely (Zone 2) or where there is a possibility of an explosive gas mixture (Zone 1) .PCs can be used in various industrial sectors, including in the mining complex for the extraction of minerals by underground or open pit.The environment may contain explosive mixtures of gases, vapors with air, dust categories IIB+H2, IIC and IIIC including IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
PCs differ in configuration, both internal and external (see.tab. 2), housing material, material of the light-transmitting part, method of receiving and transmitting data, type of installation, dimensions, configuration.Explosion protection marking depending on the configuration is given in Table 1.Specific performance is specified when ordering.
PCs are made from aluminum alloy, stainless steel, or mild steel.In the manufacture of PC for mines and mines, light-alloy materials (aluminum alloy) are not used.The material of the light-transmitting part is monolithic polycarbonate or tempered glass.

Computers ORION MK PC set. 02 and ORION MK PC set. 03 are provided with the following types of explosion protection: "db" - equipment with the type of protection "flameproof enclosures "d"" in accordance with GOST IEC 60079-1-2013, explosion protection "intrinsically safe electrical circuit "i"" in accordance with GOST 31610.11-2014 GOST (IEC60079-11: 2011); "tb" - equipment with protection against dust ignition by enclosures "t" according to GOST IEC 60079-31-2013. This equipment belongs to the group of electrical equipment I, II and III in accordance with GOST 31610.0-2014 (IEC 60079-0:2011) and is intended for use in explosive Zone 1 .The environment may contain explosive mixtures of gases, vapors with air, dust categories IIA, IIC and IIIC.According to its technical characteristics, it is marked for mines, mines and their surface structures in accordance with the following standards: fundamental concept and methodology (for underground workings) in accordance with GOST 31438.2-2011 (EN 1127-2:2002), equipment and components intended for use in potentially explosive environments of underground workings of mines and mines according to GOST 31439-2011 (EN 1710:2005).
The PC can also be equipped with electronic devices on request: data storage devices (hard drives, memory cards), interface converters, media converters, signal amplifiers, signal converters, spark protection barriers (ISB). Additional equipment that can be equipped with a PC:

- flash drive ORION USB-Flash is designed for convenient storage or transfer of files, connected to a computer via a USB port.
- Wi-Fi antenna ORION Wi-Fi antenna is designed for use in wireless networks for transmitting data coming from a source and their further distribution in space.The Wi-Fi antenna is an Ex component and is not intended for stand-alone use.
- Media Converter (MK) is designed to convert the data transmission medium from one type to another.The media converter has a valid certificate of conformity in accordance with TR TS 012/2011 and provides intrinsically safe optical radiation marked [op is T6 Ga], [op is Da] or [op is Ma].
If you select the touch screen option, there is no mouse.Additional equipment is provided with the following types of explosion protection: "ib" - equipment with the type of protection "intrinsically safe electrical circuit "i", GOST IEC 60079-31-2013 equipment with protection against dust ignition by enclosures "t", "db" - equipment with the type of protection " explosion-proof enclosures "d"" according to GOST IEC 60079-1-2013 and is marked in accordance with Table 2.
