The switch is manufactured on the basis of an explosion-proof PKV control station with explosion protection marking 1Ex d IIB T6… T4.This equipment is produced in two modifications, differing in the number of network ports with PoE support: PKV Orion MK SK-4, PKV Orion MK SK-8.

The design of the shell of the network explosion-proof switch PKV Orion MK SK is a separate explosion-proof shell that meets the requirements of GOST 31610.0-2014 and GOST IEC 60079-1-2011, consisting of a body, a rubber sealing ring of the cover.The cover is attached to the body with pivot hinges and is sealed against it with screws.The hinges connecting the cover and the body are removable, so the cover can be completely detached from the body.The internal space of the flameproof enclosure allows for optimal and convenient placement of internal components for installation and maintenance.The switch with the power supply is installed on a circuit board and is rigidly secured with screws.Cable entry is carried out by means of explosion-proof cable glands, which, depending on the customer's request, can be located on either side of the housing, but also have a standard version.A heating plate with a thermostat is installed on one of the walls inside the shell, which allows maintaining the optimal operating temperature for the operation of the equipment mounted inside.The thermostat has a temperature control element that allows you to increase or decrease the temperature inside the enclosure.Isolon plates are provided to reduce rapid cooling.On the outer side around the perimeter of the cover, spring washers are installed, pressing them with screws, thereby preventing self-unscrewing.Sealing of two diagonally located screws provides control of unauthorized access to the internal cavity.
