Design

The Orion OP IR infrared projector is an integral part of the video surveillance system in conditions of insufficient illumination of the objects of observation. Infrared lighting reduces the energy consumption and financial costs of CCTV lighting, allowing CCTV coverage over large areas.The floodlight is installed in any convenient place, taking into account the direction of video filming.It is necessary to avoid direct hit of rays into the camera lens to exclude the possible overexposure of the picture. The human eye distinguishes the wavelength (glow) in the range of 400 - 700 nanometers, which is not acceptable for covert video surveillance.For this purpose, it would be effective to use the spectrum in the range of 930-950nm, but at such values the sensitivity of the video camera matrix is much lower, which entails a deterioration in the image quality.For the Orion OP IR searchlight, a wavelength of 850 nanometers was selected, which allows for covert video surveillance without deteriorating image quality at night, while the human eye is extremely difficult to capture this glow, which is optimal for covert video surveillance.

Orion OP IR infrared illuminator is a protected case with IP67 protection degree. The protected casing is made of mild steel or corrosion-resistant steel.The body is a hollow cylinder with welded flanges for attaching the covers.The back cover of the enclosure is fixed to the case with six screws and has two female-threaded fittings on the outside for installing cable glands, and on the opposite side, which is installed inside the case, the power board is mounted.The emitter board has eight light-emitting diodes of the infrared spectrum of a luminescence, on top of which optical lenses are installed, which have a positive effect on the characteristics of the searchlight, depending on the vision conditions of video surveillance.A wide selection of optical lenses of the projector allows you to change the parameters of video surveillance by increasing the range or widening the viewing angle.The design of the floodlight has a photo relay (gloomy sensor) that allows you to react to the illumination by giving a signal to turn on or off the illumination.The emitter is installed in the front flange of the housing and is fixed by a cover with a light-transmitting window made of impact-resistant glass.To exclude the ingress of moisture, dust, rubber seals are used at the attachment points of the removable body parts.A visor mounted on top of the body is also an element limiting adverse environmental conditions.

The scope of delivery, at the customer's option, is equipped with a bracket for mounting on a horizontal or vertical plane, as well as a console bracket for mounting on a pipe.
