The Sirius PKV Exd explosion-proof control panel consists of two explosion-proof enclosures. The first enclosure contains the Sirius control panel (control board, power supplies, and switching terminals), while the second contains batteries for backup power for the entire system. The units are connected by flexible cables, with a maximum distance of 0.5 meters between them.
The explosion-proof fire alarm control and monitoring device "Sirius PKV Exd" belongs to explosion-proof electrical equipment of groups I, II and III according to GOST 31610.0-2019 (IEC 60079-0:2017) and is intended for use in explosive zones of premises and outdoor installations, as well as in mining complexes in accordance with the explosion protection marking according to GOST 31610.0-2019 (IEC 60079-0:2017), GOST IEC 60079-1-2013, GOST IEC 60079-1-2013, GOST 31610.7-2017 (IEC 60079-7:2015), GOST IEC 60079-31-2013:
The device can be used in hazardous areas of classes 1 and 2 according to GOST 31610.10-1-2022 (IEC 60079-10-1:2020) and dust areas in accordance with GOST 31610.10-2-2017/IEC 60079-10-2:2015. The environment may contain explosive mixtures of categories IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IIIC.
The explosion-proof Sirius PKV Exd fire alarm control panel is designed for operation at ambient temperatures from 0°C to +40°C and a relative humidity of 80% at 25°C without condensation. The maximum enclosure surface temperature corresponds to temperature class T6. The enclosure protection rating is IP66 according to GOST 14254–2015 (IEC 60529:2013). Climate performance is UHL 4, according to GOST 15150-69.
The explosion-proof fire alarm control panel "Sirius PKV Exd" is equipped with explosion-proof cable glands of the KV series, according to TU 27.33.13-359-81888935-2019, manufactured by SMD Company LLC. The quantity and type of cable glands are agreed upon when ordering.
